The Earls Court Exhibition architect was C Howard Crane of Detroit, who left a string of great theatres there, and the brilliant Art Deco Leveque Tower in Columbus, Ohio. Plus, he worked on New York’s Radio City Music Hall. He moved to London in 1930 and the Gaumont (now Odeon) Holloway Road is by him. His style spanned from Beaux-Arts Neo-classical to Modernist.
