Earls Court - First Phase
Detailed desgin proposals for the first phase of the Earls Court Masterplan have been approved by the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (LBHF) and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC).
These proposals will create a new district of squares beside the Lost River Park lined with restaurants and cafes and a new High Street that will connect North End Road in the west to Warwick Road in the east.
Working in collaboration with the best in British and international design, the 1,300 new homes will reflect the best of London's architecture and create a beautiful new residential neighbourhood with 1,800 sq ft of community, health and leisure facilities.
The site presently includes the land on which Earls Court 1 and 2 sit and the detailed application relates to over a quarter of the overall Earls Court Masterplan.
Two new crescents (pictured below) have been designed with impressive townhouses, elegant mansion buildings and garden squares.
A new 'Lost River Park' (below), designed by RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallist Andy Sturgeon, will stretch five acres across the full 77 acre Earls Court development site, following the line of one of London's famous lost rivers, Counters Creek.
