Education project for schools begins

EC&O Properties has commissioned Hammersmith & Fulham Urban Studies Centre to lead an education project with the two primary schools nearest to the Earls Court Project area.

An 8 - 10 week course has just started at St Cuthbert with Matthias Primary School in Kensington & Chelsea where local children will be taught about the history of the area and how it has changed over the last 3 centuries.

They will also be encouraged to create a realistic vision of the future of the area through model making, art work, photography and film. At the end of the project, the children’s work will be exhibited on this website.

The course will then be taught at Fulham Primary School on Halford Road, SW6.

The Earls Court Project team has done extensive research into the history of the area to ensure that the development reflects the rich heritage of Earls Court, West Kensington and North Fulham. This research will be published on this website in November.
