Building Lillie Square
Lillie Square will be one of the most high-profile residential developments in London, transforming a 7.4 acre car park on Seagrave Road into 808 high-end new homes offering modern garden square living.
The 1 million square foot scheme is a joint venture between between Capco and KFI which represents interests of certain members of the Kwok family.

The construction process
Lillie Square will be built in phases with the overall construction taking an estimated five years to complete.
We have appointed Sir Robert McApline (SRM) as our main contractor to build the first phase of the Lillie Square development. Sir Robert McAlpine is one of the UK’s leading builders and civil engineering companies. They have an excellent record in safety and sustainability and are committed to the highest standards of quality.
We continue to make good progress with enabling work. In February and March this will involve welding work as well as excavation. During this period lorry movements to the site will be much reduced.
Earlier this year we installed three tower cranes on site - two are 40m tall cranes and the third is 35m tall.
We will undertake works within normal permitted working hours:
Monday to Friday: 8 am - 6 pm
Saturday: 8am - 1pm
However, we have permission from the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (LBHF) to commence work before 8am for vehicle loading purposes. This follows an agreement to deliberately avoid truck movements on and off the site during peak travel to-and-from school hours.
We will avoid working on Sunday and public holidays wherever possible. We do not intend to undertake any night-time work with the exception of emergency work.
All traffic in and out of the site will enter via Seagrave Road and will be controlled by dedicated traffic marshalls.

Mitigating noise, dust and vibration
Real-time noise and vibration monitoring will be carried out at pre-agreed points marked on the map below throughout the works.

Employment, training and supporting local business
The Lillie Square development will provide jobs for local people, create at least 20 construction apprenticeships and develop training pathways for young people.
We are also working with LBHF to support local businesses and promote economic development for the local area.
