Media articles - New laws could see homes transferred to residents

What a great idea Sally!  We’ll all move to brand new housing, while you sit in a run down crime ridden estate.  It’s not just about you.  It’s about future generations of residents.  Or do they not matter.  Why should they suffer because of the ignorance and selfishness of some residents who can’t see the truth.  You are all quite clearly a pawn in a political game.  It’s a shame you cannot see it.
In saying that 2/3 signed as your glorious campaign leader claims, I assume then that you are saying that Diana’s (above) claim that ony 2 residents want the new development is a total fabrication?  If so, how can the TRA be trusted with telling the truth at all??

I never said only 2 people want the development what I said was we had only met 2 people there is a lot of difference so please get your facts right.
Also we do listen to what the other tenents and residents want that is why we are doing what 83% asked us to do and continuie to ask us to do.

Keep telling yourself that.

If you have been round all the estates in order be able to claim that you are, in fact, representing everyone and still claim you only know of 2 people, then check again.  Plenty of them have sinced come over to the Steering Company. How do I know?  Because they have signed up for it and a sizeable chunk are requesting Seagrave Road….and there is proof for that.  If you weren’t aware then take a good look.

Before you reel off the same drivel about some mandate and the TRA, it doesn’t mean you have consulted with everyone.  I know that because nobody asked for my opinion, although I’m sure you know it by now.

Your 80% was from 2009.  Things are changing rapidly.  Catch up.  It’s not a numbers game.  It’s about peoples lives.

With a great deal for leaseholders that has now been negotiated and the existing tenants contract, many are now really excited at the prospect of a bright future.

People aren’t scared for the future of the estates anymore.  They’re not stupid, they know a good deal when they see one.

Catch up.

PS Thanks for putting me back on the newsletter list.  I was surprised :D
