The current one-way system around Earls Court currently serves car drivers who want to access other parts of London. This new development offers an opportunity to change the one-way system to include new routes for pedestrians and cyclists and relieve traffic along local residential streets. That’s an interesting point, James. In fact our masterplan will include a major new pedestrian and cycle route through the area, reducing the impact on residential streets and improving public realm and public transport. As for changing the one-way system, this would be tricky, but we’re looking into it with our development partner Transport for London.
